Verdict

Verdict

Brummell warrants serious consideration in first-time cheekpieces for the stable that won this last year, although he did disappoint at Haydock. Bolo Neighs stayed on strongly to win at Ascot and, after only 11 starts, he could have more to offer but a chance is taken on BALDOMERO. A running-on third over 5f at Doncaster, he races off a mark he can comfortably handle and won't mind any cut in the ground.

Watch out for: Bolo Neighs (1)

BOLO NEIGHS returned to winning ways with a strong performance at Ascot last time and, although a higher mark makes life tougher, he remains in good nick and looks capable of following up. Station X scored at Southwell at three starts ago and has been generally holding his form well in competitive handicaps, so should give another good account, particularly if the ground eases further. Baldomero is slipping to a more attractive mark and could get involved if building on a more encouraging effort at Doncaster last time.
