Verdict

SHALAA ASKER benefited from a falling handicap mark when returning to winning form at Lingfield at the start of the month and a 2lb rise is unlikely to stop him from backing that performance up. Style King was sent off favourite when finishing fifth in the aforementioned contest and he is entitled to be closer to the selection, with first-time cheekpieces applied. Level Up completes the shortlist.

LEVEL UP has the plum draw combined with little competition for the lead and should be tough to peg back. He hasn't won in a while but he has proven consistent of late including when pulling clear with a progressive rival last time. Shalaa Asker snapped a losing run last time and has only been raised 2lb so is entitled to be thereabouts once more. Style King wasn't disgraced last time despite being lit up by the first time cheekpieces and also holds fair claims in a change of headgear.
