Form Snapshot: Runner-up in a Class F at Nantes over 3,000m on 25 September. Has been knocking at the door over recent weeks and cannot be discounted

Prix De La Place Du Canada - Monte (Class 6) (7YO only)
1m 6f 64y Standard (A.W.)
Form Snapshot: Pleased at Beaumont-de-Lomagne last month on first appearance in the code, but failed to make any impact under harness at San Siro recently and can be passed over
Form Snapshot: Finished 5th in a Class F at Le Croise-Laroche over 2,825m on 28 September, on just his second start in the code, but cannot be considered a priority
Form Snapshot: Returns to France and the monte code after being disqualified under harness at Mons a week ago. Placed in just one of 3 monte starts, and that was at Solvalla. No threat
Form Snapshot: Returns to the code after 3 unexceptional harness efforts and is not about to cause an upset
Form Snapshot: Finished 4th, on monte debut, in a Class E at Le Croise-Laroche over 2,825m on 30 September. Will have come on for the race and with his trainer in the saddle is unlikely to be far off the mark
Form Snapshot: Disqualified in a harness Class E at Chateaubriant over 3,000m on 13 September. Debuts in the discipline, with Alexis Collette in the saddle, and looks competitive for a place in the picture
Form Snapshot: Superior winner of a Class E at Vire over 2,800m on 6 September. Is never the easiest of horses to gauge but has won 2 of 4 with Mathieu Mottier in the irons and can repeat
Form Snapshot: Finished 8th in a Class F at Chateauroux over 2,900m on 27 September, after having placed there a fortnight earlier, but has nothing to offer here
Form Snapshot: Finished 5th in a Class E at Angers over 3,125m on 9 September. Seldom gets his head in front but always gives his best and can pick up minor honours
Form Snapshot: Finished 2nd to LUCA BAROSSO (8) in a Class E at Vire over 2,800m on 6 September. Has ground to make up but still represents the main threat
Form Snapshot: Unplaced in a Class F Apprentices' race at Moulins La Marche over 2,800m on 13 September. Is not the easiest of horses to handle but appreciates Enghien conditions and can give this a good go
Form Snapshot: Finished 4th in a Class D at La Capelle over 2,750m on 2 September. Has a lot going for him here and will be expected to apply the pressure on LUCA BAROSSO (8)
Verdict
Clear winner at Vire last month, LUCA BAROSSO (8) has been kept fresh for this and, barefoot for the occasion, has every chance of confirming. DEVIL OP (13) has been admirably consistent under the saddle and Vitale Ciotola could hardly have asked for a better engagement. He will lead the opposition along with JUDGE DREDD SISU (11), who teams up with Eric Raffin for the first time, and a freshly re-shod EVER SO MUCH (7) who will be one to watch on his monte bow.
