With the weather finally cooling, now is the perfect time to soak up those magical Arabian days and nights at the UAE’s picturesque and perfectly Insta worthy racecourses.

From Abu Dhabi to Al Ain, Jebel Ali to Sharjah and Meydan, this season’s calendar is loaded with world class showpieces, record breaking prize purses, and unforgettable on course moments. Here’s your guide to the race meetings you won’t want to miss.

 

Abu Dhabi

6 December – HH The President Cup Part of Abu Dhabi’s most spectacular weekend, the HH The President Cup is a must attend if you’re in the capital. Whether you’re in town for the F1 or simply craving a Saturday night racing extravaganza, this AED 8 million feature is calling your name. Tradition and modernity blend perfectly in this showstopping race meeting.

7 February – Abu Dhabi Gold Cup Newly rebranded and bigger than ever, the Abu Dhabi Gold Cup will bring together a powerful line up of international contenders taking on the hometown heroes. With the feature race carrying a purse of USD $1 million, there are a million reasons to be trackside for this one.

 

Al Ain

22 March – Last Leg of the Marathon Series The highlight of the Al Ain season, this year’s finale is perfectly positioned just one week before the Dubai World Cup - ideal for those looking to soak up major racing energy ahead of the big night.

3 April – Sprint & Derby Day Al Ain continues the momentum with a strong card featuring the Al Ain Sprint and Al Ain Derby, promising a thrilling end of season showcase. While you’re there, pop into the Golf Club a furlong up the home straight and enjoy first class atmosphere at Al Ain prices.

 

Jebel Ali

15 February – Flagship Raceday Mid February transforms Jebel Ali into a racing hotspot. On the 15th, the club’s flagship raceday takes centre stage, this year to be known as Fashion Day.  Expect a Style Stakes off the track and feature racing like the Jebel Ali Sprint, Jebel Ali Stakes and the prestigious Jebel Ali Mile on the track. This is your day to experience Jebel Ali at its finest.

27 December – Christmas and New Year Celebration Get ready to farewell 2025 with a fantastic day out at the races. Jebel Ali, well known for its family friendly atmosphere, is the perfect place to celebrate. And if you’re not quite ready to pack away those Santa hats and festive party shirts, this raceday gives you the perfect excuse to wear them one more time.

 

Sharjah

18 January – Cups & Sprint Series January is when the Sharjah racing scene truly comes alive. The 18th features the Crown Prince of Sharjah Cup and the HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Cup, the second round of the Emirates Sprint Series.

25 January – Ruler of Sharjah Cup & Marathon Stay for the following weekend to catch the Ruler of Sharjah Cup alongside the Sharjah Marathon, rounding out a dynamic two weeks of racing for the Club.

 

Meydan

28 February – Super Saturday The name says it all. Super Saturday serves as the traditional dress rehearsal for Dubai World Cup night. Drawing in the big international contenders and with headline races like the Al Maktoum Classic, Singspiel Stakes, and Dubai City of Gold Cup, this is one of the most exciting days of the racing calendar.

28 March – Dubai World Cup

An icon of global racing, the 2025 edition drew a record 65,000 fans, and the 30th anniversary promises to be even bigger. If you attend just one meeting this season, make it this one. World class sport, unmatched atmosphere, and a fireworks and drone show like nothing you’ve seen before.
