Verdict

A strong race where CABALLERO CLIFF may be able to get off the mark. He didn't find much on his hurdle debut but he did travel well for a long way on his first start since the spring and that was a good race. Prior to that he had outrun huge odds in a Champion Bumper suggesting he could have a class edge on these. Lady Dapple Rose shaped with plenty of promise when runner up over C&D on debut and could pose a big challenge if building on that. She got racing far too soon that day and ended up setting the race up for a closer. The Cistercian looks well treated on these terms on his best Irish form so is also respected if coping with the testing ground on his stable debut.
